Judging at rabbit shows

Rabbits are divided into breed classes, sex and age.  Winners from these initial classes then go on to compete with one another for prizes in the joint classes. Rosettes and prize money are awarded to the winners and runners up.

Rabbits are taken from their pens to the judging bench by show ‘stewards’, not by their owners.

Judging is on a points system and the number of points awarded for any individual attribute vary according to breed.  Full details can be found on the British Rabbit Council’s site.
