A day at a rabbit show

To enter into a rabbit show you have to contact the organising club’s show secretary and request a schedule.

Your rabbit will be booked in to enter the show once you’ve returned the schedule with the relevant entry fees for the classes you’ve chosen to enter.  To enter in the pedigrees classes your rabbit must be rung.  That is it must have a ring on its foot which has been allocated to the breeder by the British Rabbit Council.  If your rabbit has not been rung, you can still enter in the pet class.

When you first arrive at a rabbit show you must go to the organisers and get your pen numbers.  You should then settle your rabbit in it’s pen with a water bottle, fresh hay and some food.  Club stewards will come and get your rabbit when the judge asks them to.  You must leave your rabbit in its pen while judging is taking place.
